NY Strip Roast

The NY strip roast is a boneless roast made with a very tender part of a cow’s muscle. Top loin of beef is another name for a NY strip roast. A NY strip roast comes with a fatty side and tastes best when the fat is trimmed to a quarter inch. An average sized NY strip roast is about 4-5 pounds but they can be as large as 8 pounds.
